Fruit Basket Sales Help Fund Organizations
Now in its third year, the annual fruit basket sale by the Warsaw Kiwanis Club has helped a variety of non-profit organizations in our community. “The fruit baskets serve two purposes: first as a great gift and secondly, as an easy way to invest in our community,” said Douglas Ault, president of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club.
Fruit baskets are a great gift for friends, family, committee members or even co-workers. The baskets contain two red grapefruit, four jumbo oranges, three honey crisp apples, four red delicious apples, and three golden delicious apples. All of the fruit is bought from local orchards and the Warsaw High School FFA.
Proceeds from the basket sale help support Riley Hospital for Children, High School Scholarships, Cardinal Services, Salvation Army, Tools for School, Boy Scouts, Key Clubs, Circle K groups and many more.
If you would like to purchase a fruit basket for $20 please contact Chuck Whitcraft, Kiwanis Fruit Basket Committee Chair, at 574-527-3888 or [email protected]. Basket orders must be placed by Dec. 12.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time.
