WCHS, WACC Host Incoming Freshmen Meetings
Warsaw Community High School and the Warsaw Area Career Center will host two meetings for parents and students entering high school as freshmen in the fall of 2014.
The first session will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Lakeview Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a bilingual meeting available in Spanish. The second session will be held Thursday, Jan. 16, at Edgewood Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
At these meetings, parents and students will learn the following about graduation requirements for the Class of 2018:
- How to schedule courses for next year
- How to use the school website to explore possibilities in various academic departments
- How to earn college credit while in high school.
Parents and students are welcome to attend whichever session best fits their family. Please plan to attend one of these excellent sessions!
In addition, parents and students are encouraged to attend the Academic Showcase and Open House for Incoming Freshman at Warsaw Community High School and the Warsaw Area Career Center on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Exhibitions and demonstrations will be conducted throughout the evening to highlight outstanding curriculum choices.
