A fundraiser/benefit for Thomas “Butch” Sterling will be held at Lizard’s Bar and Grill on Main Street in Milford. The event will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18.

Sterling grew up in the Milford/Wawasee area and graduated from Wawasee High School. Sadly, he passed away in November. His family is trying to raise money to cover funeral expenses.

There will be a raffle, 50/50 and a silent auction. Prizes include NASCar, Coca-cola and Harley Davidson memorabilia. Lizard’s will also be serving chili and corn bread for donations. All proceeds go to Owen’s Family Funeral Home to offset costs for Sterling’s funeral.

Karaoke will be going on during the event, as well as a DJ set. Later in the evening He Said, She Said will be returning to the stage performing classic rock, modern country and pop music.
