The snow and the cold has cancelled more local high school sporting events scheduled for today (Jan. 25).

The Northern Lakes Conference,  Northern State Conference and the Three Rivers Conference Wrestling Meets are postponed. The NLC Meet was to be held at Concord High School, the NSC at Jimtown High School and the TRC event had been moved from Northfield High School to Manchester High School.

The NLC Wrestling Meet is rescheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 28 and 29. Action will begin at 6:30 p.m. each evening at Concord High School.

No make-up dates for either the NSC or the TRC wrestling tournaments have been released yet.

Tippecanoe Valley High School also announced that its boys basketball game at Southwood and its girls basketball game at home, also versus Southwood, have been postponed today.  Make-up dates for the pair of TRC games are to be determined.

The Plymouth at Wawasee girls basketball game tonight has also been postponed. A make-up date has been set for Feb. 5 for the Northern Lakes Conference contest, a 6:15 p.m. JV start with varsity to follow.

The remainder of the TCU Bi-County Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament, including the semifinal games that were to include the Triton boys and girls teams, have been cancelled.

WCHS has announced that all of its athletic events for today have been postponed. That includes the Concord at Warsaw girls basketball game scheduled for tonight as well as the home boys and girls swim meets versus Rochester, Bremen and Columbia City. Make-up dates for the contests are to be determined.
