Investigation Culminates With Meth Arrests
Following several months of investigation, Warsaw Police concluded the operations Friday with the arrest of a Warsaw man accused of dealing in methamphetamine.
After receiving numerous complaints regarding heavy drug traffic at 1117 W. Winona Ave., in Warsaw, police culminated their investigation at about 5:30 p.m. Friday where they served a search warrant. Narcotics officers went to the Winona Avenue home and located William Marsillett, 54, and several others at the residence.
Marsillett was in possession of methamphetamine and was taken into custody. During the search, officers also located finished methamphetamine, prescription medications not prescribed to anyone living at the residence, and synthetic drugs.
Marsillett was transported to the Kosciusko County Jail and initially booked for Possession of Methamphetamine. He was then formally charged over the weekend with Dealing Methamphetamine, a Class B felony, and is being held on $200,000 bond.
Several others were arrested and charged with various drug related offenses, or had warrants for their arrest. Additional charges and more arrests are likely.
Warsaw Police officers were assisted in their investigation by Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and the Kosciusko County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
