Alice Betty Farrington, 90, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 9:55 p.m., Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born April 19, 1923, in Goshen, Ind., to Walter Albert and Zora Fay (Troup) Phillips. On May 14, 1941, she married Robert E. Farrington; he preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 1996.

Alice moved from Milford, Ind., to the Warsaw area 34 years ago and was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, doing jigsaw puzzles and reading books. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a wonderful person to be around.

She is survived by a son: Robert L. (Marjorie) Farrington, Warsaw; three daughters: Rita Boucher, Skidmore, Mo.; Lynda Conner, Fishers, Ind.; and Angelique Uhl, Bourbon, Ind.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Ailes officiating. Burial will follow in Felkner Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Riley Children’s Hospital.
