ISP Locate Meth Lab In Pierceton
Indiana State Police are at a home at 103 Keith St., Pierceton, where a methamphetamine lab has been found.
At this time, officers on scene say they have arrested two individuals for manufacturing meth and are awaiting a search warrant signed by a judge to make access to the home.
Taken into custody were Ryan Michael Kennelly, 27, of EMS D24B Ln, Syracuse; and Dylan Nikole Bowser, 21, of 103 E. Keith St., Pierceton. ISP Officer Kyle Dukes tells our reporter that Kennelly was staying at the Pierceton resident and that Bowser and one other female rent the home. However, the second female is not being charged with any crimes.
Dukes and Pierceton Police Chief Tim Sammons say the received an anonymous tip of meth activity in the home. When they went to investigate, a female at the residence consented to a search where officers found an inactive meth lab in the basement. Because the home is a rental, a search warrant for a more thorough search is needed.
The ISP Clandestine team is on scene and prepare to dismantle the inactive lab and any others that may be located.
