Anthony K. Hauntz, 73, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at his residence.

Anthony was born on May 14, 1940, in Milan, Ind., to the late Anthony J. and Lucille (Banushback) Hauntz Sr. Anthony attended Arlington High School. He married Judith Vail on April 8, 1961 and she survives.

Anthony retired from Dana Corp. and Perfect Circle Corp. in 2001 after 20 yrs. as a machine operator.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter: Suzzanne Hauntz, Syracuse; a sister: Betty Burkhardt, Greensburg, Ind.; and one grandson: Steve Hauntz.

Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Services will be private at the family’s convenience. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
