The Wawasee freshman boys basketball team closed the game on a strong note to nip Plymouth 29-27 Thursday night in Syracuse.

Tim Conley netted nine points to lead the way for the winning Warriors.

Adrian Crabb and Spencer Prescott each had eight points for Wawasee.

The Warriors, who are 8-7 overall and 3-5 in the Northern Lakes Conference, play Angola Saturday.
