WARSAW – The Wawasee freshman boys basketball team posted a 1-1 mark Saturday in the Northern Lakes Conference tournament held at WCHS.

The Warriors opened play with a 33-19 loss to Northridge. Tim Conley scored nine points and Adrian Crabb had seven.

Wawasee then bounced back to top Elkhart Memorial 42-36 as Crabb netted 11 points to lead the way.

The duo of Conley and Carter Jones each scored 10 points for Wawasee versus Memorial. Cameron Schlabach added nine points for the Warriors.

Wawasee (9-9) plays at Fairfield Monday evening.
