Cindy Lou Hepler
Cindy Lou Hepler, 58, of Nappanee, Ind., passed away at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at her residence after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1955, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Othel and Mary F. (McCreffery) Hepler.
Cindy was a graduate of Morton Memorial High School and received an accounting degree from Notre Dame University. She retired after 33 years as an accountant from Chase Bank in Indianapolis.
Cindy loved reading, especially her Bible. She enjoyed puzzles and her family was very important to her. She enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by a son: Jeremiah (Stacey) Hood, Elkhart, Ind.; grandchildren: Sierra Ballinger, Cheyenne Spegal and Jeremiah Hood Jr.; a brother: Richard (Mary) Hepler, Bremen, Ind.; sisters: Sue (Rex) Forrest and Peggy Larson, both of Nappanee; and Maxine (Michael) Moore, Plainfield, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters: Pat Doty and Kay Hepler.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Cindy’s life from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at First Brethren Church in Nappanee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cindy Hepler Memorial Fund.
