Senior Investment Fraud Is Topic Of Program
GOSHEN, Ind. — Senior citizens are particularly vulnerable to scams. Join Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson to learn about protecting senior citizens from investment fraud at 3:45 p.m. Monday, March 3, at Greencroft Middlebury.
Secretary Lawson will review the top investment scams and how to protect against scam artists. The event is part of Secretary Lawson’s Indiana Investment Watch program.
The Indiana Secretary of State’s office created Indiana Investment Watch to increase financial literacy in Hoosiers and to educate them about the various types of securities fraud. The program is not funded by taxpayers, but rather comes from fines imposed on violators of securities laws.
