Pierceton Lions Club is hosting its second annual “Souper Bowl.” Come taste many varieties of homemade soups and vote for your favorite. Also includes a bake sale and extensive display of Lion Club activities. Meet at the Community Building from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 12. Free-will donations are gratefully accepted.

Happening now through April 21, is our annual spring flower sale. Beautiful flowers at reasonable cost just in time for Mother’s Day. Ask any Lions member or call 574-594-2499. Pick-up dates are Wednesday through Saturday, May 7-10, at 530 S. First St., Pierceton.

During April and May, our seventh year of the Community Calendar will be available for sale with listings of birthdays and anniversaries of family and friends, as well as local business ads and school schedules.

The Lions Cook-Book is still available for sale. This is a collection of time-honored recipes from members and friends. Again, call 574-594-2499 if interested.
