Leesburg Pack 3729 held its Pinewood Derby this past Saturday morning at the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church.

There was a total of 16 entrants ranging from 1st to 4th grade with all the cars turning out awesome this year. While a round of applause and congrats goes to all our racers and the hard work put into their cars, the fastest car overall for the pack this year belonged to Julian Uplinger from the Tiger Cub Den.

Den Specific Awards were as follows:

• Tiger Cubs – 1st Place Taylor Wasrix
• Wolf Den – 1st place Gabe Bollinger, 2nd Garrett Sautter and 3rd Josh Rensberger
• Bear Den – 1st place Jackson Poe, 2nd Gavin Vermilyer and 3rd Carson Sudlow Webelos 1 Den – 1st place Daylan Vermilyer, 2nd Alex Bollinger, 3rd Jacob Wright

Every year the pack also decides which car demonstrates the most originality and creativity. This year that award went to Carson Sudlow, who made a car that looked just like a Wii remote control.
