As Operation Pullover Blitz #78 has come to an end, officers from the Bourbon Police Department have worked extra hours to keep people safe over the St. Patrick’s Day holiday.

Five officers worked an extra 18 hours just in Bourbon during the blitz that focused on aggressive driving and impaired driving. Bourbon Police Officers arrested four people for operating while intoxicated, one of which was involved a narcotic substance.

There was also an arrest for possession of marijuana and an operator never licensed, 11 seat belt tickets and other numerous citations for speed and other traffic violations.

Please be conscious of your driving habits and if you see someone that is intoxicated, please offer them a ride. It may save their life as well as others.
