NEW INFO: Home Invasion Suspects Dressed As Police
A home invasion in Noble County this morning has authorities on high alert as they search for the suspects who were said to be dressed as police officers.
A press release provided by the Noble County Sheriff’s Department today says the two white male intruders tied up an elderly couple in their home for hours early today.
The two men, both armed, broke into the couple’s home in the 8100 block of East 200 South in LaOtto, around midnight. After tying up the elderly couple, the intruders ransacked the home.
Noble County authorities say the men stayed in the house for hours and eventually left in the victims’ pickup truck, a red extended cab 2002 Ford F-150. After freeing themselves, the couple went to a neighbor’s house at about 7:30 a.m. and called police.
The press release describes the suspects as white men, one being about 6-feet tall and the other about 5’8.” Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Initial information dispatched to surrounding counties indicated the men were also wearing what appeared to be police uniforms.
