Daryl Thomas
Daryl Thomas, 62, of North Webster, Ind., passed away on March 27, 2014, at his home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1952, in North Webster to Max and Jeanette (Lamprecht) Thomas. He was a faithful and loving husband to Bonnie King-Thomas.
He will be remembered as the original founder and lead guitarist for the band, Shilo. He was awarded “Music Master” by Wawasee school where he taught music. He also drove bus for 26 years.
He is survived by his wife: Bonnie; two daughters: Amanda (Josh) Vetor and Schaya (Daniel) Hernandez; three stepchildren: Robbie King, Beverly Swick and Eric Kee; a sister: Mary Moorman; a niece: Missy (Gary) Tom; a nephew: Robert (Michelle) Murphy; several other nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
