The Kosciusko County Fire Association recently presented $1,300 to the Firefighters Communication Fund which is held at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. The donation was the proceeds from the first Firefighter Ball, which was held Feb. 8 at Oakwood Resort in Syracuse.

The Firefighters Communication Fund will address the urgent communication challenges for firefighters as a result of narrowing radio band widths and our county’s varied topography. Gifts to the fund are welcomed and encouraged.

Since 1968, Kosciusko County Community Foundation Inc. has brought caring people and charitable endeavors together for the good of the community. The Community Foundation is a public charity, and gifts made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
