FlowFeel Films Shooting Documentary In Area
FlowFeel Films, an innovative production company producing content for new media and film, and Michael Palascak, a comedic actor with countless appearances on TV (The Tonight Show, Comedy Central, Late Show With David Letterman) and film, announced they are teaming up to film a feature length documentary.
The project will focus on Palascak’s return to his hometown of Wabash and his live stand up performance there. The show at Eagles Theatre on April 17 will be Palascak’s first major live appearance in Wabash. FlowFeel Films and Palascak will capture the excitement of the show combined with Palascak’s visiting and reminiscing about his days in Wabash.
The film will be co-produced and directed by Brent Kado, who resided in North Webster at one time. Kado said, “Having previously shot two feature films in North Central Indiana (“Welcome To Gentle Waters,” which was shot in North Webster and stars Palascak, and “A Short History of the Valley”) I am excited to return to the area to film such a unique event.” Kado and FlowFeel Films are now Los Angeles based but maintains strong working relationships in Chicago and Indiana.
Palascak, a Wabash High School graduate, has been working as a comedian for almost 10 years. Spending over 100 days per year on the road for gigs, Palascak now calls Los Angeles home but he remains highly connected to the Midwest. Palascak was named the Chicago Reader’s Critic Pick for best stand up comedian in 2008. Beyond his numerous appearances on late night talk shows, Michael has performed at the Comedy Festival at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and had his own half hour special debut on Comedy Central in 2012.
On coming back home Palascak remarked, “I’m really excited to come back to Eagles Theatre to perform. That’s where I saw ‘Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze’ as a kid. A lot of awesome memories about growing up in Wabash.”
