Warsaw Man Arrested For Cocaine Possession
A Warsaw man was arrested yesterday after being found to possess cocaine by officers of the Warsaw Police Department.
According to a press release provided by WPD, at approximately 12 p.m. yesterday officers were dispatched to the west side of Warsaw near Tippecanoe Drive and Hepler Drive on reports of a suspicious male in red clothing who was behaving strangely. After arriving on scene, police were notified by another call to dispatch that a male in red clothing was jumping fences behind Purity Cylinder near Dot Street –a few blocks south from where the original call was dispatched.
After locating the male on Dot Street, officers discovered that individual was having trouble following simple instructions, was agitated, was sweating profusely and was making statements that did not make sense. Police discovered a pill bottle with the suspect’s name, Kevin L. Bronson, 54, of Warsaw, that contained what appeared to be crack cocaine. After testing the substance, it was verified that it was cocaine.
Bronson was taken into custody yesterday and was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a class D felony charge of possession of cocaine with a $2,000 bond. Warsaw Police were assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
