WARSAW – The Kosciusko County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 149 is inviting the public to its annual golf outing May 10, 2014, at Rozella Ford Golf Course to support local scholars.

FOP Lodge 149 is asking local citizens and businesses for their support in this event. Cash prizes are available during the golf outing, and businesses are being enlisted for hole sponsorship at $200 per hole.

Three $500 scholarships are being presented to local college students in honor of the three police officers that have lost their lives in the line of duty; Jeffrey Shaw and Phillip Hochstetler, both of Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, and Jason Beal of the Indiana State Police.

Contributions and sponsorships are tax deductible, and hole sponsorship will also provide businesses with signage at a designated golf hole on the course during the event.

Deadline for a four-person team entry is May 5, with business sponsorship deadline set for April 25.
