It’s About Respecting Your Constituents
Dear Editor,
While I am not a union person, I do expect that a state representative would treat all constituents with respect. When a representative can call a constituent a chicken (expletive) on the state house corridor and then ask how much they make an hour and then have the mentality to tell them that they make too much money and her husband is CEO of a local bank, we have a huge issue of disrespect for the people that put you in office. Again, Rebecca led them to believe that she would vote one way and then voted another way, similar to what she did to the marriage vote. Kubacki stood for traditional marriage and sent an email stating that she would vote for it and then flip flopped because she didn’t realize a sentence was in the bill. The bill was 2 sentences long. http://instagram.com/p/nD1Wk2rHAI/
I, too, experienced Representative Kubacki’s anger when talking to her at the fairgrounds in 2012 concerning Common Core. She got upset with me and cursed at me. The next day I called her office and told her staff how disrespectful that was of her to treat a person like that.
I’m thankful that HD 22 from southern Elkhart County and most of Kosciusko County, including Nappanee and Warsaw, can vote for integrity and a person that will respect ALL people. On May 6, choose wisely, vote Nisly.
