Thelma Blue, 79, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Mentone, Ind., passed away at 2:20 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at her home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1935, in Gilead, Miami County, Ind., to Lee and Bertha (Easterday) Moyer. She worked for DePuy Orthopedics of Warsaw for 18 years where she retired. She enjoyed bent and wiggly word search puzzles.

Thelma is survived by a daughter: Cheryl (Brent) Shoemaker, Denver, Ind.; five grandchildren: Christopher Leiter, Brent Leiter, Amanda Hart and fiancé Cary Kingrey, Derrick Harris and Shelby Shoemaker; nine great-grandchildren; brothers: Meredith (Bev) Moyer, Warsaw; and Herbert (Dora) Moyer, North Manchester, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lee and Bertha Moyer; sons: Alan and Mikel Blue; a brother: Harold Moyer; and a sister: Mae Conley.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the funeral home with Pastor Terry Canfield. Burial will follow at Mentone Cemetery.
