Indiana Traffic Assistance Team will be having a carwash at the North Webster Community Center on Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society via Relay For Life.

The group is hoping to raise $1,000, and they’ve collected $330 going into the weekend. “We’re hoping this pushes us up to near our goal,” says team captain, Kayla Enyeart.

In addition to carwashes, the team will be washing and shining tires, offering vacuuming and drying cars. Wax will be available.

Music we’ll be playing. “We make it a fun event,” says Enyeart.

At the Relay For Life of Kosciusko County on Saturday, May 17, at the Kosciusko Community Fairgrounds, the team will be hosting other fundraising events. They’ll be selling walking tacos, baked goods, offering dollar minute massages and selling sky lanterns.

The lanterns will be written on in memory of those who’ve succumbed to cancer. After the sun goes down, the lanterns will be lit and float into the night sky.
