Paul D. Risner
Paul D. Risner, 60, of Silver Lake, Ind., passed away at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, Ind.
He was born Sept. 11, 1953, to Willie and Helen (Adams) Risner in Prestonsburg, Ky. He was a lifetime resident of Silver Lake.
He was united in marriage to Irene Prater on June 6, 1973, in Wise, Va. He retired from Dalton Foundry after 30 years. He attended Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Warsaw.
Paul was a simple man who loved being with his wife, his two daughter and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed the outdoors.
Paul is survived by his wife: Irene Risner, Silver Lake; two daughters: Martha (Darrin) Walther, Claypool, Ind.; and Jessica (Corey) Leasure, Silver Lake; brothers and sisters: James (Barb) Risner, Warsaw; Joe (Billie) Risner, Akron, Ind.; Danny (Donna) Risner, Warsaw; Drema (Todd) Montgomery, Burket, Ind.; and Debbie Risner, Lapz, Ind.; five grandchildren: Alyssa Walther, Claypool; Paul and Peyton Leasure, both of Silver Lake; Keri Leasure, Warsaw; and Austin Leasure, Mentone, Ind.; and his mother: Helen Reynolds, Plymouth, Ind.
He is preceded in death by his father and a niece.
Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at the funeral home with Pastor Glenn Hall of Harvest Community Church, Pierceton, Ind., officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
