Cromwell Man Admits To Child Molesting
The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office has just released information on a Cromwell man arrested Thursday for two counts of Class A felony child molesting.
Robert Dwayne Dominy, 43, of 9980 E. King Arthur Trl., Cromwell, was being held in the Kosciusko County Jail without bond after he was accused of having sexual intercourse with a 9-year-old child.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an employee of Wawasee Community Schools notified child protective services that a female student informed them she was being molested by a member of her family. The girl, now 13, said she was forced to have sex and submit to oral sex with Dominy at least five times over a four year period that began in 2010. The last time she was victimized was earlier this month, just one day before she confided in a school employee.
When interviewed by Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Detective Josh Spangle, Dominy allegedly admitted to the accusations, even confirming the number of instances the molesting occurred.
If convicted on both Class A felony charges, Dominy could face up to 100 years in prison. Each charge carries a penalty of between 20 and 50 years imprisonment.
