Judith Ann McKeigue
Judith Ann McKeigue, 70, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014, at her residence at Retired Tigers of Warsaw.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1944, in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Joseph Francis McKeigue and Viola (Smith) Babcock.
She was a private woman that was at times quite hard to peg. However, what can be said about Judy for certain was that she worked hard her whole life, having worked for many years at Maple Leaf in Milford, Ind., and retiring in 2011. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She looked up to her big brother and admired her little sister. Judy liked to laugh, joke around and have a good time. But if there was one thing to remember about Judy McKeigue is that she’d give the shirt off her back and the last dime in her pocket to help a complete stranger.
She is survived by her son: Chris (Anne) Nelson; daughter: Paige (John) Hubner; grandchildren: Claire, Audrey and Owen; one brother: Joe (Jan) McKeigue; one sister: Jane (Miles) Perry; and many friends who have shared laughs with Judy over the years.
No services are planned. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous, Area 22 Committee, P.O. Box 2282, Hammond, IN 46323 and would be appreciated by her family.
