All-NLC Baseball Announced
GOSHEN – The formal lists for the All-Northern Lakes Conference baseball were released this afternoon from NLC secretary Larry Kissinger.
The lists are heavy with Panthers and Chargers as NorthWood and Elkhart Memorial both finished 10-4 atop the league.
Leading the way were All-NLC selections of Daniel Asbury, Noah Pawlak, Cam Maxwell and Jake Tucker from Memorial and Blake Cleveland, Tanner Cleveland, Hunter Lane and Will Kirkwood of NorthWood. Chargers Jon Bailey and Scottie Clark and Panthers Tanner Farmwald and Kyle McCoy were all named Honorable Mention All-NLC.
NorthWood head coach Zach Benko was tabbed as the NLC Coach of the Year.
Plymouth, which finished 9-5 in NLC play, had Justin Drudge, Blake Milliser and Jacob Frantz all named All-NLC while Joe Dragani was Honorable Mention All-NLC.
Concord also had four total players make the cut from its 8-6 season with Brenden Curry, Jake Vernon and Nick Defreese All-NLC and Matt Williams Honorable Mention All-NLC.
Northridge were 7-7 in the round robin and had Jake Baylis and Andrew Kennedy All-NLC and Andy Ross Honorable Mention All-NLC.
Warsaw finished 6-8 and had the duo of Brandon Shipp and Caleb Heckaman named All-NLC.
Wawasee claimed a 4-10 NLC mark and had Gage Reinhard named All-NLC while teammate Gage Fannin was Honorable Mention All-NLC.
Goshen concluded 2-12 and had Deric Haynes named All-NLC and Jorge Pizana Honorable Mention All-NLC.
