Wings Of Destiny Bike Ride Saturday
The Wings of Destiny Bike Ride is a way to enjoy the area’s scenery, socialize with old and new friends and support the Syracuse Skate Park in memory of Cory Kneller, who died in a car accident in 2012. The event has been put together by Kneller’s family including his mother, Cathy McDonald, and his brothers, Devin Kneller and Ryan McDonald. The ride will be about 50 miles.
Registration begins at noon Saturday and the motorcycle ride with cars following takes off at 1 p.m. from Danny’s Sports Bar at the Barbee Hotel, 3620 N. Barbee Road, Warsaw. There will be stops at Duffy’s Pub & Grub, 717 S. Huntington St., Syracuse; Fat Boyz Bar & Grill, 609 Lincolnway W., Ligonier; and Coody Brown’s, 1510 East 700S, Wolcottville, at Witmer Lake.
There will be an after party including food and beer at Hog Back Hill, 3425 W. 800 S., Ligonier. Raffles and drawings will go on throughout the day and night. There is a discount for couples and the cost of the ride includes food and beer at the after party. Those participating must be 21 years of age.
