Millersburg Lions Hosting Golf Outing
MILLERSBURG – The Millersburg Lions Club is hosting its 10th annual golf scramble to help raise money for the Sonshine Day Care as well as the Fairfield High School boys and girls golf teams.
The outing is July 27 with a 1 p.m. shotgun start for the scramble at Timber Ridge Golf Club. Teams of four will have an option of a championship flight or a first flight. For the $400 championship flight, $100 of the entry fee will be divided 50/50 between a “Big Pot Prize” for the winning team and additional donations. The winners will be dubbed “Michiana’s Best Scramble Team”. A $300 team entry will be placed in the first flight, which is friendly competition, with the top team also winning prizes. Mulligans will be available for first flight teams only.
The event is also seeking corporate, hole and “In Honor Of” sponsorships as well as prize donations.
