July is National Parks and Recreation Month.

To celebrate, Syracuse Parks and Recreation is organizing a photo contest that will highlight the vibrant park system. All amateur photographers in grades 12 and under are eligible to participate.

Contest categories include, “Fun in the Sun, ”“Playing in the Parks,” “Picturesque Park,” and “Park Selfies.” All photos must be taken within the Syracuse Parks system. Three of the contest winners will receive $50 each, have their photos displayed in the Syracuse Community Center’s lobby and published in The Mail-Journal and on StaceyPageOnline.com.
