Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, July 10, 9:56 p.m. Smith Street near Maple Avenue, Warsaw Drivers: Keith E. Young, 47, SR 25, Warsaw; William P. Beatty, 66, Lynnwood Drive, Warsaw. Young pulled out in front of Beatty resulting in a collision. There were no injuries reported. Damages: up to $5,000
Thursday, July 10, 2:51 p.m. US 30 near South 325 East, Warsaw. Drivers: Luis F. Juarez Lopez, 16, Wooster Road, Pierceton; Michael K. Blankenship, 44, Woodhill Drive, Fort Wayne. Lopez was attempting to cross US 30 and was struck by Blankenship. Damages: up to $25,000

Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Thursday, July 10, 12:35 p.m. Argonne Road near Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Betty Ann A. McFarren, 79, Boys City Drive, Winona Lake; Charlotte N. Johnson, 23, Fulton Street, Ligonier. McFarren rear-ended Johnson. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, July 10, 11:54 a.m. Lake City Highway near Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Michael P. Maggart, 50, East 100 South, Avilla. Driver struck deer. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, July 10, 11:13 a.m. 2500 block of Walton Blvd., Warsaw. Drivers: Tamara A. Price, 60, T 23 Lane, Leesburg; David A. Richards, 54, East 200 North, Pierceton. Price backed into Richards while both parties were trying to get to the same gas pump. Damages: up to $2,500
Thursday, July 10, 9:34 a.m. Market Street near Washington Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Robert T. Earl, 48, Union Street, Warsaw; Richard M. Stroh, 67, Sheridan Street, Warsaw; parked. Earl was backing out of a parking space and collided with Stroh. During the collision, a parked, registered to Nicklas Prentice of Syracuse, was also struck. Damages: up to $10,000
