Quality Dining Announces Scholarship Recipients
Today, Quality Dining Inc., local Burger King® franchisee, announces the funding of $110,000 in Burger King® continuing education scholarships for high school seniors and $30,000 in scholarships for their Burger King® employees. It includes 39 scholarships of $1,000 each and one scholarship of $5,000 in South Bend/Southwest Michigan. Since 2001, Quality Dining has funded over $1.95 million in continuing education scholarships in partnership with the BURGER KING McLamoresm Foundation.
2014 Burger King® Area High School Scholarship recipients include:
- Ashlyn Vitoux, Warsaw Community High School
- Branton Leazenby, Plymouth High School
- Claire Schmidt, Bremen Senior High School
- Danielle Erickson, Plymouth High School
- Taylor Fielstra, Northwood High School

The Burger King McLamoresm Foundation scholarship program was designed to recognize students who maintain academic standards and are also involved in co-curricular and/or community service activities. Since 2000, The foundation has granted more than $22.6 million in scholarships to more than 20,000 students.
