BPA Motoring Along At CCAC
WARSAW – The weather couldn’t be any better and the baseball has been just as good as the Baseball Players Association (BPA) World Series winds through day two of its stay at the CCAC.
The BPA stop in Warsaw is catering to the 10-U and 13-U age groups for teams from a good portion of Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Bracket play for gold and silver divisions of both age groups began Wednesday and will continue through Sunday.
The BPA hosts tournaments for baseball players from 8-18 years old and has tour stops this summer for the Northern Zone in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Missouri as well as a Southern Zone stop in Tennessee.
The week-long event officially began Tuesday night at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on the campus of Grace College with a banquet, highlighted by guest speaker Bill Buckner. A 20-year Major League Baseball star, Buckner spoke about the value of hard work and cooperation to the players in attendance.
Complete bracket rundowns for the BPA World Series can be found on the CCAC Web site and more information on the BPA can be found here.
