Little Bighorn Introducing ‘Millennial Golf’
PIERCETON – In an effort to cater to a different audience, Little Bighorn Golf Course is looking to branch out a little with its offering of products.
Course owner Dale Custer wants to reach out to the non-golfers and those looking to get back into the game but may be a little rusty. The course has created a new set of golf rules dubbed ‘Millennial Golf’ in a nod to the Millennial Generation.
The course decided to take a bold step to promote this new game by offering everyone free greens fees Monday through Thursday until 4 p.m. starting Monday, July 21st.
The new rules allow a round to be played in much less time.

The intent is to give those who golfed once a new lease on their golfing lives. Ever get frustrated because of the difficulty of the game, especially when trying to hit the ball out of the fairway or rough? Can’t drive the length of the fairway, regardless of the length of the hole?
‘Millennial Golf’ allows golfers to tee it up anywhere, thus increasing your chances of a good second or third shot. It is not cheating if that’s the rule. Traditional golf etiquette still applies, and traditional golf is still allowed, but the alternative offers an option to those looking for a better result.
“This is something we thought we would try as a fun way to make golf more appealing to more people,” Custer said. “We’re hoping the trial run is well received and this could be another option for our golfers and those who haven’t golfed here before.”
The course still offers its amazing 18-hole disc course where play all day costs just $4.
Little Bighorn Golf Course is three miles east of Warsaw on Old US 30. For more information on additional ‘Millennial Golf’ rules and how to play, call the pro shop at 574-267-5431 or go to the Web site at www.littlebighorngc.com.
