Big Wheels Turning In Central Park
Warsaw Parks and Recreation, Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club and Penguin Point hosted the 34th annual Big Wheel Races in Warsaw Friday night as part of the Warsaw Park Department’s Family Carnival.
A total of 65 kids, ages 4 years through 7 years old, registered for the races, but in the end, only six emerged the fastest Big Wheel racers.
In the 4- and 5-year-old division, winners were Alek Head, 1st; Kailyann Young, 2nd; and Neko Ewert, 3rd.
Winners in the 6- and 7-year-old division were Jayden Head, 1st; Wyland Ewert, 2nd; and Bryce Eldridge, 3rd.
The Warsaw police and fire departments were also involved in the Family Carnival with displays and a dunk tank, and there games and even a magician to keep children busy and entertained throughout Central Park.
