Area high school football fans will be able to get their first look at their favorite team come Friday night.

The annual prep scrimmages will take place throughout the area. Teams began preseason practices on Aug. 4.

Warsaw will host Tippecanoe Valley Friday night at 7 p.m. Wawasee will visit Mishawaka Marian, also for a 7 p.m. start. Whitko will travel to Garrett to scrimmage starting at 7 p.m. and Triton will host Manchester at 6 p.m.

The regular season opens Aug. 22 with Warsaw at Columbia City, Wawasee at Whitko, Culver Academies at Tippecanoe Valley and Triton at Caston.
