Timothy A. George, 60, of Cromwell, Ind., passed away on Aug. 14, 2014, at home.

He was born Aug. 23, 1953, in Warsaw, Ind. to Montie and Naomi (Stafford) George.

Tim was a jack-of-all-trades, having worked in the trucking industry, as a mechanic and in construction. He loved racing and even built his own race car.

Tim is survived by a daughter: Nanette (Charlie) Miller, Syracuse, Ind.; a son: Montie George, Fort Wayne, Ind.; six grandchildren; his mother: Naomi Fowler, Florida; a brother: Richard Nabinger, Florida; a sister: Sherry Rose, Kentucky; and his best friend: Pearl Stewart, LaGrange, Ind.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A private cremation committal will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center.
