Jason Michael Carroll Honoring Servicemen, Women
Country music artist Jason Michael Carroll is this year’s special guest for the St. Joseph Valley Det 095 of the Marine Corps League’s Mud Run event to honor servicemen and women and pay tribute to the service and sacrifices made by police officers and firefighters every day.
Warsaw’s Mike Loher booked Carroll for the Saturday, Sept. 13, event to be held at Mishawaka Marian High School, 1311 S. Logan St., Mishawaka. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the concert. Lawn seating is on a first come first serve basis with no reserve seating. No coolers or glass bottles are permitted.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at eventbrite.com. Donations are also accepted on the ticket purchase site. Printed tickets are necessary to enter the concert.
The Marine Mud Run, a community support project sponsored by St Joseph Valley Det. 095 of the Marine Corps League, is dedicated to helping the many needy children who go without Christmas due to a variety of factors including low income, job loss, injuries, illness, domestic violence, or divorce. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children are most at risk of having low self-esteem, depression and a sense of being lost during the holiday season due to the factors listed that may befall a family.
Jason Michael Carroll’s concert is open to all ages and ID is not required, but ID is required to purchase or consume alcohol in the beer garden. Parking is free at the school.
