Marsh Calls For Sheriff Candidates Debate
Independent candidate for Kosciusko County Sheriff, Travis Marsh, is calling for a debate among himself, Republican candidate Aaron Rovenstine and Libertarian candidate Patrick Jamison.
Marsh believes the three candidates seeking the sheriff’s office should appear at a public venue and outline their reasons for running and how they will best serve the citizens of Kosciusko County.
Marsh is open to any debate format and has no preference as to the time, date or even location of the debate. Marsh is also open to suggestions by the other candidates as to which group or organization is best qualified to moderate the debate.
Political debates were once the vehicle by which voters could gain valuable information from candidates and their positions. This “test drive” of office seekers allowed for a more informed decision on candidate selection beyond political advertisement alone.
