At approximately 5:15 p.m. on Aug. 26, Warsaw Police Department and Multi-Township EMS responded to a mo-ped accident on Hickory Street near the intersection of Market Street.

According to WPD officers at the scene, Teressa L. Keiser, 54, of North Webster, was driving her mo-ped over the railroad tracks on Hickory Street when the tire of the mo-ped became lodged in the railroad tracks, and threw Keiser.

Keiser was rendered unconscious and transported by EMS to Kosciusko Community Hospital for head pain. She was later transferred to Lutheran Hospital with internal head bleeding. Keiser refused a chemical test at the scene.

Damages to the mo-ped were estimated at less than $750.
