UPDATE: Amber Alert Cancelled for Indy Infant
(UPDATE: The Amber Alert for Delano Wilson was cancelled as of 6 p.m. This cancellation was requested by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
While the alert has been cancelled IMPD continues searching for the infant.
Police say the alert for 6-week-old Delano Wilson was canceled because it had reached its “maximum audience” and extensive coverage of the search in local media and online is sufficient for informing the public.)
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have issued an Amber Alert for a month-old baby boy. Delano Wilson was believed to have been abducted earlier today, and police consider him in extreme danger.
Wilson was reportedly abducted by a man and a woman. The man is reported to be white, between the age of 25 and 30, 5’6″ to 5’9″, brown hair, last seen wearing a black do-rag, red T-shirt and blue jeans.
The woman is described as hispanic, approximately the same age as the male, thin with long brown hair, last seen wearing a green shirt with matching earrings. They were reportedly driving an early 2000s blue Ford Taurus, and the man is believed to be armed.
Wilson, pictured above, has black hair and brown eyes, is 16 inches long and weighs 12 pounds. He was last seen at noon near the 1400 block of Henry Street in Indianapolis.
