Amanda S. Weaver, 47, passed away at 11:15 p.m. August 28, 2014 at Life Care Center in Rochester.

Born to Robert E. and Patricia J. (Lutz) Weaver of Winamac she was one of five children.

Amanda attended Culver High School where she was a cheerleader. She also loved playing softball and being a member of the girl scouts.

She had worked at the Copper Kettle in Bremen while in school.

While Amanda was in high school she was in a tragic automobile accident which put her in a coma for the past 29 years. She has been in the care of many nursing homes over the years.

Amanda is survived her father Robert (Sandra) Weaver, brothers Gary (Candy), Thomas (Kristy) and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Davis and brother’s Steve and Kenneth.

Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, with services immediately following at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Whitworth of the Faith Baptist Church of Plymouth.

Burial will be in the New Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth
