A strong Bethany Christian boys tennis team blanked Triton 5-0 in prep action Saturday.

The closest match of the non-conference match came at No. 2 doubles. The Triton duo of Spencer Glingle and Ben Waggoner lost a 6-4, 0-6, 2-6 final.

The Trojans lost all three singles matches in straight sets to the Bruins. The trio of Jared Fisher, Gavin Eads and Mace Eads competed in the three singles spots for the Trojans.

Triton’s top doubles team of Alex Eib and Austin Sellers also lost in straight sets.

Bethany Christian won the junior varsity action 7-0.

The Triton varsity is now 4-3 on the season, while Bethany improves to 5-2.
