Duane Hackworth, school bus driver for the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation (TVSC), was honored by the Board of School Trustees at the Sept. 8, meeting as a recipient of the Pillar Award for Outstanding Support Staff.

TVSC has many wonderful individuals among its classified staff who, like Mr. Hackworth, work very hard and receive little recognition. Mr. Hackworth is currently in his 32nd year of transporting children safely to and from TVSC schools. He and his wife, Janet, reside in Akron.
