Daniel Kirkham had a huge game Wednesday night for his Whitko soccer squad.

Kirkham tallied three goals in pacing the Wildcats to a 4-3 victory at Hamilton.

Kirkham, a senior, also assisted on the first score of the night for Whitko. He then scored the final three goals in the win.

Thomas Wyman had the first goal of the match for the Wildcats. Keegan Hicks had a pair of assists for the winners and Devin Goggin added one.

Keeper Jacob Helton came up with 15 saves for the Wildcats.

Volleyball Teams Come Up Short

The Whitko 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams opened their seasons with losses to Manchester.

Manchester won the 8th grade match 25-23, 25-8 and took the 7th grade contest by a 25-11, 25-15 final.
