Miller’s Merry Manor Announces Groundbreaking
Groundbreaking ceremonies were held today at Miller’s Merry Manor in Warsaw to launch a series of improvements to the rehabilitation campus and services. Patrick Boyle, President and CEO of Miller’s Health Systems, recently announced plans for the extensive construction project, which includes a dedicated therapy center with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, therapeutic heated pool, large community room, and additional internal updates. The new front entrance to the 7500 square foot addition will allow easy access from the front parking area and accommodations for patients and community visitors. Construction is expected to last through Spring of 2015.
Miller’s Merry Manor has been a part of the Warsaw community since the company first opened its doors in 1964. Since that time, thousands from the Kosciusko County area needing rehabilitation and nursing care have been served by the healthcare facility.
“It has been and continues to be a privilege to work hand-in-hand with dedicated physicians and other providers to care for our neighbors,” stated Boyle. “Each year around the State, our employee owner’s work to get over 2500 patients back home to their families and friends after their recuperation stays. Making important enhancements like these will help us continue to fulfill our mission even more effectively.”
Added Jason Hill, Executive Director of the Warsaw healthcare and Assisted Living campus, “We’re excited about this project and the opportunities it will give us to expand our Therapy staff and the range of therapies and support services we offer. It will also allow us to serve our patients in new ways, with monthly health education and community programs specifically designed for seniors, along with space for clubs and organizations to meet.”
