Debra Collier’s Dance Classes for All Ages
Debra Collier’s School of Dance is excited to kick off their 38th season with great classes for students of all ages.
“It’s never too late to start dancing. We often have middle school and high school age students who are concerned they will be in classes with younger students and that is not the case,” explains owner Deb Collier. “We have beginning level classes for every age, where students can feel comfortable and confident with their peers. Whether you want to dance recreationally or have an interest in a dance career, we can help you find the class that is right for you.”
DCSD faculty member Tammy Seibold recently posted an article on the studio’s blog about professional dancers that did not start their training until their teen years and after. “There are so many amazingly talented dancers that have performed with major dance companies, yet didn’t even start dancing until they were in high school or college. Even Martha Graham didn’t begin her dance education until 22. Imagine if she hadn’t taken that first step, we would have all missed out on the beauty of her talent and her contributions to the world of modern dance,” explains Seibold.
Debra Collier’s School of Dance has classes available for all ages and abilities.
