Silver Lake Lions Club Seeking New Members
The Silver Lake Lions Club is seeking civic-minded men and women to join them in making a difference in the community. The club meets the first and third Monday of each month. The meetings are open for people who want to learn more about the club and its work.
“Our club gives members an opportunity to advance worthy causes, serve with friends, and become leaders in the community. This club means a lot to our Lions, but it means so much more to the people who serve,” said Lion President Kevin Hohman. “We encourage the public to come out and learn more about he club’s work. “We want to share the great things we’re doing in the community, and let others know how they can help.”
The Lions’ motto is, “We Serve,” and the Silver Lake Lions Club has lived up to it. For 77 years, the club has assisted with many community projects such as co-sponsoring the Silver Lake Days festival, sponsoring the annual Easter egg hunt, Halloween party, student scholarships to name a few. To learn more about the club or its service projects, feel free to call 260-35-2787, 574-267-5858 or 260-352-2180.
