Community Benefit For Bill Linn
A community benefit is planned for Bill Linn of Claypool.
It will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the South Whitley Fire Station.
Proceeds will go to help with medical bills, as well as upcoming expenses related to Linn’s farming accident, which took place over Memorial weekend.
Linn lost his left arm in a mowing accident, which sent him to Lutheran Hospital via helicopter in critical condition.
Linn survived the accident, but he’s still healing.
Food will be served beginning at 4 p.m. at the South Whitley Fire Station and will include pulled pork, hotdogs, baked beans, potato chips and soft drinks. This is a free will donation benefit.
There will be a silent auction and bake sale around 7 p.m. Some of the items being auctioned off are: Peg Perego tractor and trailer, Indiana Beach Fun Day Tickets, Komet’s hockey tickets, FireKeepers Casino giftcard, Sweetwater electric guitar and much more! Last minute items may be donated by calling Tylette Watmough at (574) 933-4276.
For those who cannot attend and would like to still donate, checks can be sent to Three Rivers Credit Union under “Bill Linn Benefit Fund”.
